Sleek I-Divine Acid Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

I bought Sleek’s I-Divine Acid Eyeshadow Palette for P620 last month during the SuperSale Bazaar where Makeup Hub by Naturele Collezione had a booth. According to Sleek’s website

The Acid i-Divine Palette contains a fusion of vibrant colours for the more daring, with bright pinks to luminous greens amongst the 12 highly-pigmented pressed mineral-based eyeshadow shades.  This palette combines matte and shimmer formulations with neon and complimentary shades that keep their vibrancy on all skin tones.

The velvet-touch consistency gives full and shimmering coverage to the eye lid for maximum effect. Each shade can be applied alone for a dramatic effect or mixed to create a personalised look.

Best applied with the applicator enclosed.

Please note : Due to FDA regulations this palette cannot be sold in the US. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

I wonder why FDA didn’t approve this product. The ingredients are as follows:

Mica (CI 77019)
Paraffinum Liquidum
Magnesium Stearate
Ethylhexyl Palmitate
Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)
Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985)
Yellow Iron Oxide (CI 77492)
Red Iron Oxide (CI 77491)
Red 6 Lake (CI 15850:1)
Red 7 Lake (CI 15850:1)
Red 27 Lake (CI 45410:2)
Ultramarine (CI 77007)
Hydrated Chromium Green (CI 77289)
Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510)
Black Iron Oxide (CI 77499)

I love the striking vivid colors and the fact that it’s affordable. The eyeshadows aren’t as good as brands such as MAC, Urban Decay, and most better known brands. Sleek’s is not as pigmented and has a more chalky feeling but it’s not so bad especially if you are on a limited budget. Sleek has more subdued palettes but I only had eyes for Acid that time.

I don’t know the names of each color since the palette doesn’t have labels and the website doesn’t say so either. My favorite shares are neon green, hot pink, and neon yellow.
